General Manager (Music Studios & Creatives' Workspace)
Base Salary: £40,000 - £50,000
Location: East London
Hours: 9:30am-6pm Mon-Fri (Flexible subject to demands of the role)

ROLE OVERVIEW
As a scaling category leader of creative industry workspace solutions, our client is casting its search wide for an entrepreneurial leader with a hospitality and or creative arts background to join an ever-growing and passionate founding team as the General Manager of two of their locations in East London.
Spearheading the commercial decisions and success for this East London sites, you will be responsible for the on-site team of 3 (2 full-time, 1 part-time); delivering a best-in-class member experience through exceptional day-to-day operations, motivating the community team and achieving revenue growth and profitability targets, all the while growing the community.
Featuring amenities like an in-house licensed bar, DJ and rehearsal studios, video editing suites, and production studios, this role requires an entrepreneurial leader, with a hospitality focus to oversee the daily operations, managing a high-performing and motivated community team and achieving revenue growth and profitability targets, all the while delivering a best-in-class experience to members and growing the community month over month.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Building Operations & Management:
Ensure all areas of the site are presented well at all times
Ensure all studios and relevant equipment are operating efficiently to maximize members' experience
Oversee the operations of on-site bar and bar staff
Resolve maintenance and facilities issues promptly by sourcing and coordinating with contractors and managing service contracts
Ensure the sites' compliance with fire and health and safety legislation
Develop and deliver the processes required for a flawless member experience
Hold the team accountable for operational standards
Escalate any recurring issues to the Head of Operations to work on resolutions
Manage the building's OpEx (Operational Expenditure) budget to achieve profitability goals
Team Management
Lead and manage the team within your site to accomplish objectives and areas of ownership
Ensure your team has the tools necessary to succeed in their respective roles
Deliver performance reviews, making sure your team always understands how they are performing and their growth journey goals
Support your team through ongoing coaching, feedback, and weekly one-to-ones
Ensure your time is split appropriately to make sure your team are supported in their day-to-day activities
Member Engagement and Retention
Manage and take ownership of the relationships with all members within the buildings; both residents and month-to-month members
Act as the main point of contact for resolving members' issues, billing, and any other issues
Be accountable for member retention, NPS score, and overall member satisfaction
Events and F&B
Coordinate execution of all private events, including management of logistics, catering and staffing
Work with clients in the lead-up to the event to ensure everything is delivered to client satisfaction.
Work with the bar team to ensure impeccable customer service and the quality of the drinks at all times, overseenig menu design and development
Growth and Financial
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
Provide input to monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, showcasing the outcomes of the work you perform at the site
Manage credit control for the business, ensuring all invoices are paid on time
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Equivalent experience in hospitality, retail, members clubs, co-working, music / content creation studios or related
3+ years of team / operations management experience
Building operations / venue management experience required
Bar management experience is preferred
Experience working in multidisciplinary venues across food & beverages, music, events and co-working is a plus
Entrepreneurial experience either in early-stage start-ups or your own venture
Strong verbal and written communication skills, project management, and business operations experience
