Job Title: Fibre Network Project Co-ordinator.
Location: West Sussex.
Salary: £20,000-£25,000 (dependent on experience).
Reports to: PMO Manager
Job Summary:
The Project Co-Ordinator is responsible for assisting with the coordination and delivery of all projects relating to the build and activation of new infrastructure in line with operational guidelines and specification.
Responsible for ensuring all areas provide update information to enable delivery to the set targets and timeframes as set out within the build schedule.
A point of control between all relevant parties ensuring that every task is monitored, chased and updated as necessary to meet the agreed scheduled dates.
Provide accurate updates of status of job/delivery.
Job Responsibilities:
To Provide accurate updates of status of job/delivery.
To produce the required reports to assist with build delivery.
To update Finance of works completed and ready for invoicing.
Preparing project updates.
Maintain project schedules.
Host the daily call with the Build Manager, Senior Site Project Managers and Delivery and Compliance Managers.
Inputting new work registrations to inform the LA of our completed works.
Run reports across the Permitting systems to ensure tasks are actioned within timescales and financial penalties are kept to a minimum.
Ensure all noticing requirements are met.
To provide our field teams with all relevant detail to ensure delivery within timelines and to agreed standards and legislation.
Provides the appropriate reports and data to allow informed business decision making.
Continually informs field delivery teams of project status plus risks and issues pertinent to the delivery of works.
Review Planning Packs and advise the business the most efficient approach to raise Permits and ensure works can be undertaken as quickly as possible.
Own relationships with Local Authorities to discuss all Permitting matters. This may include requesting early starts, challenging defects and querying FPNs (Fixed Penalty Notices).
Ensure permits and packs are collated and provided to the crew in a timely manner to ensure they can work safely and legally.
Co-ordinate the Crew Schedule of Works, working with the Project Managers to deliver a workstack across all of the company’s clients.
Liaising with in house and external crews regarding job requirements and ensuring all permits are fit for purpose, inputting start/stop notices on permits.
Oversee defects and interims ensuring KPI targets are met, and financial penalties are kept to a minimum.
Maintain and update tools such as Monday.com
Point of contact for clients regarding general queries including permits, defects and FPNs.
Knowledge and Skills:
Evidence of having assisted with the co-ordination of a project/programme, working in a technical and structured project environment within the Telecoms sector.
Experience in project co-ordination with the ability to communicate at all levels of the business in order to build relationships with clients.
Evidence as a team player with good communication skills.
Must be able to work collaboratively to assist and co-ordinate wider group efforts to assist in fulfilling customer needs.
Good Attention to detail.
Takes ownership off problems that occur and offers solutions to the team.
Education and Qualifications:
Manual Handling.
Level 1 Health and Safety in the Workplace or IOSH Working Safely.
SWQR SLG.
Full UK Driving Licence.
