Events Operations Manager (Music Studios & Creatives' Workspace) 
Base Salary: £35,000 - £40,000
Location: East London
Hours: 9:30am-6pm Mon-Fri (Flexible subject to demands of the role)

ABOUT YOU

  • Experience: 3+ years of proven experience in event management, hospitality, or a related field.

  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with a meticulous attention to detail.

  • Client Focus: Passion for delivering outstanding client service and creating memorable experiences.

  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with health & safety regulations, fire codes, and venue management best practices.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, staff, and stakeholders.

  • Problem-Solving Skills: Proactive and solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving, with the ability to handle client feedback constructively.

  • Passion for Music: A genuine interest in the music industry and a desire to contribute to a thriving creative community.



 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication, exceeding expectations, and building strong relationships.

  • Event Planning & Execution: Coordinate and deliver a variety of events, from private hires and member gatherings to large-scale productions, collaborating effectively with marketing and community teams.

  • Operational Excellence: Oversee all aspects of event logistics, including staffing, setup, and breakdown, ensuring smooth operations and efficient resource utilization.

  • Financial Management: Maximize event profitability by optimizing staffing levels and identifying upsell opportunities.

  • Compliance & Safety: Maintain strict adherence to health & safety, fire regulations, and other legal requirements, including noise mitigation protocols.

  • Post-Event Management: Conduct thorough post-event assessments, document any damages, and ensure appropriate deductions from deposits.

  • Staff Coordination: Schedule and induct event staff, including security and engineering personnel, ensuring they are well-prepared and understand their roles.

  • Quality Assurance: Maintain impeccable quality standards for all events, conducting post-event evaluations to identify areas for improvement.
